Understanding Vortex Wave Technology
TheraPlate uses its proprietary Vortex Wave technology, generated by internal motors within the platform.The technology creates a controlled, consistent movement through the platform while the horse stands in place.

TheraPlate is available to horses staying with us as part of our wider range of facilities and can be incorporated into their individual daily routine where appropriate.

It is just one element of the wider care we provide. Horses staying with us may also have individually managed turnout, controlled exercise and appointments with vets, physiotherapists or other professionals according to their particular programme.
We also welcome visiting horses for standalone TheraPlate sessions.

Is the TheraPlate safe for my horse?
Suitability will depend on the individual horse and its circumstances. If your horse has an existing condition, is undergoing rehabilitation or is under veterinary care, we recommend discussing the use of TheraPlate with the relevant professional involved in their care.
Will my horse feel it move or shake?
Your horse stands on the TheraPlate platform for the duration of the session while the selected setting is in operation. Sessions are supervised and can be incorporated into the horse's wider routine.
How long does a typical session take?
A standard session typically lasts between 15 and 20 minutes, making it straightforward to incorporate into a horse's wider daily routine.
Can TheraPlate be incorporated into a horse's rehabilitation routine?
At our yard, TheraPlate is one of a number of facilities available to horses staying with us. Where a horse is undergoing rehabilitation following injury, its overall programme should be guided by the appropriate professionals involved in its care.
