Highly recommend Floss and her theraplate! Great experience for both horse and rider! I took two of my horses for weekly sessions, and the improvement was unmatched in comparison to any other therapy treatment they have received before (physio , chrio , treadmill etc ). Both horses improved with their overall range of movement, hind end impulsion and muscle mass. One horse has had a number of surgeries and a difficult year in recovery, the treatments had the mare happier than ever with her work load. The second mare unfortunatly has a number of arthritic joints and navicular, we found that the treatments helped with each of her issues with a positive effect. I recommend this treatment to any horse owner for all disciplines, ages and types. You’re missing out if you don’t give it a try

I have recently introduced all 3 of my horse's to the theraplate. After only two sessions the horse's are showing a big improvement. I can not wait to continue to develop this with the help of floss and the depths of knowledge she has when using the theraplate. Added bonus it's making a massive difference too us as riders and has allowed me to get back to riding 3 horses in a day after breaking my leg last June. Until meeting floss I wasnt convinced I would be able to ride one without the pain continually being too much and now is a different story.

I cannot recommend the Theraplate enough. A few years ago, Floss Smith introduced me to it, initially just explaining the benefits. Little did I know how essential it would become for two of my Border Collies.

I first started using the Theraplate for my 11-year-old, who has spondylosis in her spine and degenerative joint disease in her hocks following an agility injury. Around the same time, my 13-year-old Collie required surgery to remove a suspicious lump. As I already had the plate, Floss suggested using the post-surgical setting to support her recovery.

Unfortunately, she developed post-surgical cellulitis. On Floss’s advice, I began using the cellulitis setting, and I’ve seen steady improvement in her wound since then.

I am incredibly grateful to Floss for her ongoing help, support, and advice with my girls. I truly can’t thank her enough.

I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and with both pregnancies I’ve struggled with quite severe PGP along with hip and glute pain — especially after being active, walking too far, lifting, or just keeping up with horses, dogs, and a one-year-old. Unfortunately, avoiding those movements just isn’t realistic for me.

While waiting for osteopath and physio appointments to help address the underlying issues, I started using the Theraplate twice a day, and even after only a week I’ve genuinely noticed a difference.

It hasn’t completely stopped the stiffness or pain after activity, but it has definitely reduced it. What’s been most noticeable is the recovery afterwards. Normally, if I trigger a spasm or overdo things, the stiffness and pain can linger for several days — even with full rest. Since using the Theraplate, after a session it almost feels like my body resets overnight, and the next day I’m far less sore and much more mobile.

I also had one particularly bad spasm after not using it for about a week, where I could barely walk, sit, or lie down comfortably. After doing 2–3 sessions back to back, I had noticeably more mobility and a significant reduction in pain.

An unexpected bonus has been improvements in fatigue and sleep too, which during pregnancy is huge.

I have been dealing with the long-term effects of a back injury from around 10 years ago. Over time it’s gradually caught up with me, causing occasional back spasms — usually after powerful movements like a golf swing or bowling in cricket. This year, though, the spasms started becoming much more regular, sometimes even from something as simple as sleeping in the wrong position.

I’ve been regularly seeing a physio, and alongside that I started using the Theraplate daily. After just a week of consistent use, I’ve genuinely noticed a difference in both recovery and day-to-day stiffness.

When I do get a spasm, recovery feels much quicker, and overall the inflammation and irritation in my back feels far less intense. Using the Theraplate alongside traditional physio treatment seems to be helping my body recover more effectively while I build strength and stability to prevent future flare-ups.

Before using it, I ended up needing to see my physio three times within about five weeks because the spasms kept recurring. Since using the Theraplate daily and continuing physio, I haven’t had another spasm so far.

It’s still early days, but the difference in recovery time and overall comfort has been really noticeable already.
